Riding the wedding wave – June

Woooo, well here we are I’m currently surfing the biggest wedding wave so far in my wedding photographer career history.  What a few weeks it’s been and what I really appreciate along the way is I get to experience so much more than I ever could of imagined in my past office manager job.  So here’s just some of what I experienced in June:

I lived, breathed and loved capturing Chandeni’s wedding to Jas, over three days I really felt the warmth of their friends and family and went shutter click happy at all the colours and beauty of a Sikh wedding.

Working with some of my most favourite suppliers in the wedding industry, these people are what I consider amazing colleagues, people you’d want to spend lots of time with laughing and chatting in the staff room, making my wedding world an even more amazing place …. you guys know who you are!!

A Vintage Chic Wedding Fayre, which was total eye candy.  Such a delight to be a part of, complete with bunting to my table and quick bit of taming to my locks that morning.

An amazingly hot day at Scarborough capturing the wedding of Kelly & Andrew, and for the first time ever I’m photographing the start of the ceremony in tears as Kelly greets Andrew with huge tears, because Kelly’s crying, Kelly’s brother’s trying hard not to cry, her mum’s crying just in front of me and so is her aunty.  I’m not sure how professional that is of me, my camera was covering it all, and I got the shots still, but that was emotion with a capital ‘E’!

So with such a great June, I’m looking forward to riding the next big wave …. July!!!
